How Does The Garden Work?

Every participant will be requested to read and sign the "Rules & Regulations" and  the "Registration Form"  before working in the community garden.
 
The garden area is divided into three plot sizes - 8X8, 8X16 and 8X24.  Plots will be leased to you at the rates of  $5, $10 and $15 per year depending on your plot size.
 
An area has been established strictly for a"Children's Vegetable Garden".  Plots in the "Children's Vegetable Garden" are $5 per year.  Tractor tires have been added to make the perfect "bed" for children to lean on.
 
Each organization/group/person will be responsible for their plot to include planting, watering, weeding, and keeping the plot area clean.
 
The Gardeners will be able to grow, consume, share products with friends & family, and donate to Hartsville organizations.  
 
Participants will have the opportunity to sell their products (vegetables and/or flowers) at the Good Living Marketplace and keep your profits at no charge to participate in the marketplace.
